My husband and I stayed here 4 nights. It is in a nice little town on the train line and just a short distance from Sorrento. It was much more reasonable than other places in the Sorrento area. Our room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was VERY helpful and friendly. Our room and bath would be considered small by 4 or 5 star standards, but it was fine for a place to mainly sleep in! Our room was air conditioned -- not all are. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, but putting some blankets on it took care of that. It is about a 10 min walk from "downtown" Sant Agnello and about a 20 min walk from Sorrento town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel to get to Sorrento. Beach is 2 min walk. It is a converted monestary -- simply but nicely done. Nice little outside garden and common room. we had a really pleasant stay here. We ate at a couple of good restaurants nearby -- one was called Moonlight. It's easy to get to Pompeii, Capri and Positano from here.
Now I am convinced that names and luxury does not mean a lot. In this B&B we felt at home, and that is what matters. Staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the view we had of the bay of Napoli was incredible. This view only, will cost you a few more Euros in any other place.
Breakfast was plenty and you could even buy the bus tickets at the reception. They had FREE internet and private parking (At a Marriot that we stayed in another city was not). Guests were from all ages; every one had an adventure to tell and had some great tips.
We will return any time, any day. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We were given a huge double room with a massive private bathroom down the hall. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and breakfast was great - a full spread of breads, meats, yoghurt, fruit, cereal etc
We really like the location of the hotel as it was very close to the water, and was close enough to the train station and Sorrento (only 1 train stop away) but far enough out to get out of the hustle and bustle of the towns.
Easy day trips to Isle of Capri, Pompeii and Amalfi Coast. Excellent accommodation for the price.
